Today’s post is so much fun because 1) my class of 2020 Spokesmodels are amazing 2) DONUTS!!! In all seriousness, I am so excited to share today’s blog post with you all! Every year, I put on a bigger styled shoot for my #HNSeniors and this year’s theme was EXTRA cute…so I was EXTRA excited! Edible props?! Count me in!!
I came up with the idea of a donut shoot when I was prepping the Spokesmodel’s Year (so roughly Nov. 2018!). When I found the phrase “Donut Grow Up” & “Eat more hole foods” I knew that I couldn’t pass on this SWEET idea 😉 (see what I did there!). So yes, it’s been a long time coming, but I’m so excited to share the finished product with all of you. My spokesmodels and team of vendors were absolutely incredible!
As always, these fun styled shoots are only made possible because of the wonderful team of vendors that I’m blessed to work with. The first thing you might notice (beside my gorgeous girls) is the massive venue behind the backdrop. Talia at A Pocket Full of Sunshine, LLC in Mount Vernon, IL was an absolute dream to work with. Talia just opened this incredible venue, and wow-oh-wow, you’d think she’s been doing this her entire life! The space is absolutely gorgeous and so, so thought out! I’m actually really, really pumped to share that I will be photographing another event here in May, and I can’t wait to be back! The barn is gorgeous from the outside, but seriously stunning inside as well. Next up, let’s talk DONUTS!! Heather from Daylight Donuts in Olney, IL was an absolute ANGEL to work with! This lady went above and beyond to provide yummy and delicious donuts for this shoot. The girls were begging me the entire time to eat them (no worries – we all munched on them in the end). In the second part of our photoshoot, the girls each received a personalized monogrammed crewneck from Saltwater Prep. Andrea, the owner, is one of my sweet STL friends, and I LOVE partnering with her shop! She always does high quality work and is so easy to work with – if you’re a monogram lover you’ll need to check out her shop (or follow her personally on IG, because she is ALWAYS traveling!).
Take a look at all of the fun, below!!! I am so excited and so in love with how these turned out!
