Every year, there is one day that I wake up, and I can see that fall has arrived! The leaves are starting to change, the fall wildflowers/weeds have sprung up! Well, Saturday was that day, and I was SO pumped because I had a session! Vayda was the lucky duck that was blessed with the first “looks” of fall. I say “looks” because we’re still in a major heat wave around here, but at least it’s starting to look like fall!

Nonetheless, Vayda is a senior at St. Elmo High School, and I was SO excited to take her senior photos. First, she is the first St. Elmo HNSenior! It’s always exciting to meet new people from new schools! Second, Vayda’s session took place on her grandparents’ property. They had anything you could imagine for a vintage senior session – which is exactly what Vayda had been dreaming of! I was so excited to see so many vintage cars, and tin buildings! Plus, they had a gorgeous pond and beautiful wildflowers (I’m really not sure if these are flowers, but I’m going to be optimistic and say they are!).

This girl picked the PERFECT spot for her session, and I LOVE the images we created! Vayda also wanted to include her grandpa’s favorite possession – his car! Now, I don’t know much about cars, so I can’t really say much, but I could tell this was a special car to him and their entire family! I’m so glad we were able to include it in her session! We finished her session in downtown St. Elmo. While the downtown area is small, it has so much charm! I loved the brick walls, old movie theater, and tiny little shops!

Vayda is such a sweetheart and so easy going! She is so fun to be around, and I’m sure that she’ll do great things after high school. Enough chit-chat, take a look at Vayda’s gorgeous fall senior session!!
