Y’all, I AM SO EXCITED to share today’s blog with you. This is one of my favorite couple sessions. I was trying to pinpoint what was so great about it: the stunning couple, frosty winter scene, adorable coffee shop atmosphere, genuine joyful smiles, or the laughs we shared while taking these. Yeah, it’s hard to pinpoint something, but I think it’s that this session matched them. I absolutely love it when a couple makes their session personal to them because 1. they feel natural 2. it’s more unique.
Kami and Jacob are so stinking adorable and sweet. I am so blessed they reached out to me for photos. Jacob works as the youth minister at the church my father-in-law works at, and Kami works at a coffee shop near their home {I told y’all they’re amazing!}. They reached out this summer, and we planned a fun July session. However, before we settled on their date, they realized they had to move it back to the fall when they’d have more time. While I was a little bummed we couldn’t make it work in the summer, I am SO happy we waited, because we were able to get these stunning photos!
In the days leading up to their session, St. Louis/Southern Illinois had just received six inches of snow {in November mind you}, and I wasn’t sure what everything would look like for their session. Luckily enough, a good portion of the snow melted, and it left us with a perfect icy/frosty view Saturday morning. AHH! It was gorgeous – freezing – but gorgeous! These two stood out in 24* weather like total pros! We warmed up with hot coffee at my favorite local coffee shop, and then out again for some additional photos.
Take a look at all of these cute photos. I can’t pick a favorite because there are SO many great ones! I dare you to try!
