Y’all, let me just start by saying, “I LOVE PROPOSALS!!” It’s just so much fun to see and hear a groom get so excited to ask his soon-to-be fiancé to marry him. There’s just a special kind of energy and emotion in the air, and it is just so much fun. I was thrilled when Aaron reached out for me to photograph their proposal.
Aaron had planned to propose to Brittany on a hike with their dogs. Brittany works nights as a nurse, and she would be asleep during the day, and Aaron would wake her and make sure she was ready for their afternoon hike. Once they arrived to the park, they would climb a trail to get to a lookout point. At that point, Aaron would ask Brittany if she would like him to take a picture of her with their dogs. Instead of his cell phone, he’d pull out the ring box and pop the big question! Y’all everything went perfectly!! Aaron did an incredible job of planning the whole surprise. After the proposal, I introduced myself to Brittany, who was completely stunned, and we took a few portraits at the top of the hill. Brittany was gushing over her new ring – I mean can you blame her, it’s gorgeous!! She was so surprised by the whole thing, and it was just the absolute sweetest!!
I left them to “continue their hike,” but little did Brittany know, I went down to join their entire family at the trailhead. Once Brittany and Aaron finished their hike, their family surprised the two with balloons and signs. It was so much fun to see how excited everyone was for this new chapter. I am so honored that Aaron asked me to capture such a big moment, and it was so special to see all of their family so excited for Aaron and Brittany. Everyone was over-the-moon excited, and y’all, it was just perfect.
Take a look below at how the afternoon played out! These two are such sweethearts, and while I just met them last week, I know their wedding day is going to be so much fun! I could already tell these two have such a special relationship and their day is going to be all sorts of adorable!!
