I met sweet Madison through a Facebook contest I held at the beginning of the year. Her name was randomly selected as the winner for a free engagement session, and I was eager to meet her {and her man!}. We chatted on the phone and planned the shoot while Madison finished up her undergrad at Ole Miss. I knew this session was going to be wonderful as I saw a few photos of Madison & Donovan, and I knew she loved living in the South {which I DREAM of!!}. The cherry on top was just a few weeks ago when Madison sent me 10-15 photos of her family’s property where the engagement session would be at. Y’all this place is stunning, and I’m sure when you scroll through these images, you’ll understand why I was so excited.
This past weekend, heat, humidity, and all, I traveled to rural Nashville, Illinois for their engagement session. When I arrived to Madison’s family home, I was greeted by Madison in the cutest sundress and cowboy boots, a big smile, and an even bigger hug. I could just tell that this session was going to be a home-run! We drove around the back roads, walked through knee-high grass, and climb up in the family’s old barn. To top it all off, the session was interrupted by a herd of 50+ cattle!!! Yep, that’s right, they surrounded us, and I could not stop laughing at what was going on! Take a look below at all the fun and craziness. I had such a wonderful time, and I’m sure Madison and Donovan’s wedding day is going to be full of so much love and joy! Their relationship is so sweet and genuine, and I’m so honored to capture these photos of them.
This cute red bench was a Valentines gift from Donovan to Madison! How sweet!
Madison made this flower crown the day before. I was thoroughly amazed!
The cows saw us and started heading our way!

I could not stop smiling as I viewed your work. It’s true Donovan and Madison are the most photogenic people I know, but you captured their happiness as well as their charm and humor. May the rest of their lives be as fun and rewarding as this photo shoot. Great work Haley.
Thank you so much! You are so kind!
